According to a new report, WWE is close to signing a number of talents to NXT UK shortly after the brand restarted earlier this month.
Inside The Ropes is reporting that there are several wrestlers in London for the latest round of tapings so officials can take a look at them ahead of them potentially signing.
A number of names were revealed in the report, some of which you will probably recognise.
Those listed were as follows:
- Adam Maxted (former Love Island contestant who has wrestled for the likes of WOS and OTT)
- Sha Samuels (has wrestled for a whole host of promotions and was actually offered a contract in January but it wasn’t finalised due to injury)
- Aleah James (has wrestled for RevPro this year)
- Molly Spartan (has wrestled one match for ROH and is in a relationship with Wolfgang of Gallus)
- Tony Gill (best known for his time in Impact as Gursinder Singh)
The NXT UK brand returned with original programming on September 17, with its TV being based around the new Heritage Cup tournament.
However, as we covered earlier, the TakeOver event in Dublin has been pushed back to June next year.
