With AEW: All Access now airing on TBS, WWE is set to start shooting a new reality TV show in the very near future.
The first episode of AEW: All Access revealed that the Young Bucks had planned to retire following the events of All Out, with the whole series promising to give viewers a real behind the scenes look into the top stars in Tony Khan’s company.
WWE have had success with reality TV before, with Total Divas being a regular ratings success, along with the likes of Miz & Mrs, Total Bellas, WWE Breaking Ground and Tough Enough.
Dave Meltzer has now confirmed plans for a new series from WWE, writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required) that:
“The company is shooting a reality show this week. No word on the distribution of the show. “
In February 2023, Ric Flair announced that Fox and Netflix were looking to pick up the “Housewives of Wrestling”, a series that would feature the wives of Randy Orton, Kurt Angle and Jake Hager.
Bianca Belair had also revealed that Hulu filmed content for a reality series that would feature her and her husband Montez Ford at Royal Rumble in January 2023.
At the time of writing, there’s no news as to who the new WWE reality TV series will feature.
