WWE Files Trademark For ‘Edris Enofé’

As per the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), WWE has filed to trademark another NXT ring name.

On November 16, WWE filed an application to trademark ‘EDRIS ENOFÉ’. The USPTO report reveals that the  As per the USPTO, the filing would allow WWE to use the name for ‘entertainment services, namely wrestling exhibitions’.

The following description accompanied the filing:

GS0411: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

Enofé made his WWE in-ring debut during the November 19 edition of 205Live, defeating Malik Blade in singles action.

WWE has made a number of trademark filings recently. On November 12, the company filed applications for several variations of the term ‘Scrap Metal’, fuelling speculation that ‘Scrap Iron’ Adam Pearce will soon have an on-screen faction.

WWE has also filed to trademark a number of in-ring names, after several developmental talents were re-named earlier this week.
