WWE File Trademarks For 12 New Names

Dave has been a website writer for WrestleTalk since October 2022, having previously written for Den of Geek, among a number of wrestling, movie and television-related sites. Dave has been around the independent wrestling scene for more than a decade, including behind-the-scenes.

WWE has filed a number of trademark applications for potential star names according to recent documentation.

The applications were filed in February 2025 with the United States Patent and Trademark Office under the category:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

A total of twelve names were submitted by WWE to the USPTO, as below:

Haze Jameson
Trill London
Harley Riggins
Summer Sorrell
Jax Presley
Masyn Holiday
Drako Knox
Tate Wilder
Braxton Cole
Chantel Monroe
Aria Bennett

At the time of writing, it isn’t known how, if or when any of the above names will be used within WWE, but the most likely outcome is new NXT talents debuting on TV soon.
