WWE Files Trademark For Possible New Ring Name WWE

WWE has made its newest trademark filing with the United States Patent & Trademark Office earlier this week.

On November 7, WWE filed to trademark “Michin”.

As of now, there’s no word on who/what the trademark will be used for, but the description that accompanied the filing was the same description WWE uses when filing trademarks for ring names, so it seems like it’ll be someone’s name.

The description was as follows:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

Other recent WWE trademark filings have included “Ucey” and “Feeling Ucey”, the term coined by Sami Zayn that has taken on a life of its own and become a big part of the Bloodline’s antics.

WWE also filed for “TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs” earlier this month, which may imply the event could be making its return. There had been a TLC event every single year since 2009 until it was left off the calendar in 2021.
