WWE Files To Trademark ‘Yulisa Leon’ & ‘Damon Kemp’

According to the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), WWE has filed to trademark the in-ring names of two performers.

On November 8, WWE applied to trademark ‘YULISA LEON’. As per the USPTO, the filing would allow WWE to use the name for ‘entertainment services, namely wrestling exhibitions’.

Leon made her WWE debut on the October 22 edition of 205 Live, teaming with Katrina Cortez to face Amari Miller and Valentina Feroz. Cortez was released by WWE on November 4.

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

Also on November 8, WWE filed to trademark ‘DAMON KEMP‘, also for ‘entertainment services’. Kemp has yet to debut on WWE TV.
