WWE Files For Multiple Trademarks Including ‘Jacket Time’

According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), WWE has filed several trademarks related to talent.

On November 1, WWE filed to trademark ‘VEER MAHAAN‘ for ‘entertainment services, namely wrestling exhibitions’:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment

Formerly just ‘Veer’, the former bodyguard of Jinder Mahal was given a surname during a vignette that aired on Monday’s episode of Raw.

On November 2, WWE filed a trademark for ‘JACKET TIME‘, also under the category of entertainment services:

“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment”

Kushida and Ikemen Jiro coined this name for their team during a recent interview. The duo are set to face the Creed Brothers on Tuesday’s (November 9) edition of NXT.

Also on November 2, WWE filed to trademark ‘ERICA YAN‘:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment
