WWE star AJ Styles has shared a behind the scenes look at his training regime ahead of his major match at the upcoming Backlash premium live event.
When AJ Styles returned to WWE TV in December 2023, the Phenomenal One showed off his transformed physique, with Styles putting on muscle during his time away from the ring.
At Saturday’s (May 4) show, Styles will challenge for Cody Rhodes’ Undisputed WWE Championship. This will be Cody Rhodes’ first televised title defence since defeating Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40.
With Styles and Rhodes never facing off in singles action, fans have been curious about what the upcoming match between the duo will look like.
WWE has now shared a new video on YouTube showing AJ Styles training at his house.
In the five minute video, which you can watch below, the Phenomenal One takes a cold plunge, and questions whether or not Cody Rhodes has the willpower to do the same daily.
Styles also shared footage of himself jumping rope on his themed basketball court, and weight training in his personal gym.
AJ Styles notably challenged for the WWE Undisputed Universal Title at Royal Rumble, competing against Randy Orton, LA Knight and champion Roman Reigns in a fourway bout.
Styles hasn’t held a world title since dropping the WWE Championship to Daniel Bryan (Bryan Danielson) in November 2018.
