A WWE star has returned to in-ring training after almost seven months out of action due to an injury.

Apollo Crews hasn’t wrestled since the January 24 SmackDown episode, during which he defeated Johnny Gargano in singles action.

It was subsequently reported that Crews suffered an injury during this match, with Crews later confirming that he had undergone surgery for a pectoral injury.

A positive update has emerged on Crews’ recovery, with the former Intercontinental Champion back training in a ring again.

Independent wrestler Eli Knight shared a video of him and Apollo Crews practising in the ring at The Dungeon, which you can view below.

Apollo Crews is currently a member of the SmackDown roster, where he has been since the 2024 WWE Draft.

His latest stint on the blue brand saw him wrestle in a tag team with Baron Corbin, ahead of Corbin’s departure from the company in November 2024.

The January 24 SmackDown match is the only match Crews has wrestled this year. WWE has yet to announce an official return date for Apollo Crews.
