According to several sources, WWE is in the middle of a travel crisis which has left a number of SmackDown stars stranded in Saudi Arabia following yesterday’s Crown Jewel show.
Now that SmackDown has moved to FOX on Friday nights, there is a risk that a number of advertised stars will no longer be able to attend or compete.
As you can see from the tweet below, Dave Meltzer is reporting that while 12 superstars have been able to catch a flight, the majority are stuck in Saudi Arabia and will likely not make it back in time.
Some notes since nobody can say anything. WWE had a problem in Saudi Arabia. Talent was not allowed to leave on their flight and most are still there. 20 people, 12 of which were talent, have left but the rest are still there.

It’s a 14 hour flight, Smackdown starts in 17 hours. The last we heard the rest of the talent wasn’t going to be able to leave for a lot longer than three hours.

We are supposed to have a SmackDown tag team title match between The Revival and The New Day tonight, an appearance by The Fiend on Miz TV and a match between Roman Reigns and Baron Corbin, but whether that will now happen is not clear.
Meltzer was unable to specify who is stuck in Saudi Arabia, but we will update you as soon as we have more information.
