WWE and the rapper Travis Scott have reportedly had a ‘full falling out’ with plans scrapped for his inclusion in WWE 2K25.

It was previously reported that Travis Scott was set to feature in a match at WWE SummerSlam, although “something happened” that led to the rapper being pulled from the plans.

With Drew McIntyre taking a shot at Scott during a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, as well as a recent report highlighting Scott’s level of commitment to WWE, Dave Meltzer has now provided an update on the two side’s relationship.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer stated that there was a “full falling out” between Scott and WWE, stating:

Travis Scott was scheduled to be the celebrity surprise that was to be revealed this month in WWE 2K25. He was to be part of the DLC Downloadable content. Scott and WWE had a full falling out, the nature of which hasn’t gotten out yet, but it’s why it’s open season to knock him.

The decision was made for El Grande Amercano to take his spot, plus Aleister Black has been the person to replace Scott as far as the WrestleMania pack even though Black was not at WrestleMania.

Scott had appeared during the Raw Netflix Premiere in January, Elimination Chamber and also did a run-in during the main event of WrestleMania 41, allowing John Cena to dethrone Cody Rhodes to become Undisputed WWE Champion.

While Scott’s commitment WWE has been the subject of reports, Triple H recently had glowing praise for Jelly Roll, who will be competing at WWE SummerSlam in a week’s time.

The Grammy-nominated star will team with Randy Orton to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul at “The Biggest Party of the Summer”.

Jelly Roll has recently revealed that he has been training with, among other, Kevin Owens and Jacob Fatu, as he prepares for his match.

SummerSlam takes place on August 2 and 3, marking the first two-night iteration of the summer WWE Premium Live Event.
