WWE’s Trick Williams had reacted to his historic world championship win at NXT Battleground on May 25.

In the main event of NXT Battleground, Joe Hendry lost the TNA World Championship to Trick Williams.

The outcome marked the first time a current WWE star has held a TNA championship title.

Williams has now reacted to the championship win on social media, sharing a photo with his newly won title.

As can be seen below this news story, in a post on Twitter, Williams sported the TNA World Championship and a celebratory cigar backstage at NXT Battleground, accompanied by the word:

“TrickNA”

That wasn’t the only response featuring Williams on Twitter, with the official WWE account also sharing a short video with a jab at Hendry.

The short video features Williams delivering the Hendry-esque spin to face the camera, before the new TNA World Champion says:

“Let’s talk about it!”

Lash Legend, the real-life girlfriend of Trick Williams, has also reacted to her partner’s win on last night’s show.

A potential first challenger for Williams and the TNA World Championship has also seemingly been revealed.
