According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE tried to convince Rey Mysterio not to appear on Chris Jericho’s cruise. However, Mysterio is still featured in the Rock n’ Wrestling Rager website.
Currently, Mysterio is advertised as a special guest, meaning he will not be wrestling on the cruise. Mysterio stated that he wanted to fulfil his commitment prior to signing his current WWE contract.
This will be the final non-WWE event Mysterio will participate in. The last major non-WWE Mysterio participated in was Cody Rhodes’ All In. Of course, WWE tried to pull him out of that show too, although Mysterio still performed on it.
The cruise is set to set sail this weekend on October 27th. While the cruise is sold out, fans can still get on the waiting list with hopes of making it in should someone drop out last minute.
With the Sea of Honor Tournament, multiple rock concerts, and various comedy sketches, the 2,300 fans who bought their tickets are guaranteed to have a blast.
