WWE’s Triple H Named Executive Producer For Upcoming The Rock Project

WWE Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has been named as executive producer for an upcoming project from The Rock.

Last year, it was announced that The Rock’s production company Seven Bucks Productions would be producing a documentary on WWE Hall of Famer Andy Kaufman.

In an update on the documentary from PWInsider Elite (subscription required), the project has now finished production, with some additional details now being revealed.

The title of the film is ‘Andy Kaufman is Me’, with Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson listed among the producers, as well as Dany Garcia, Hiram Garcia and Brian Gewirtz.

David Letterman is credited as an Executive Producer for the film, as is WWE’s Chief Content Officer Paul Levesque.

PWInsider notes that a good bulk of the film is made up of Kaufman recordings that he had made as a personal journal, and a basis of a planned book, with the material seeing the action recreated on screen through puppetry.

The project also features interviews from Letterman, Carol Kane, Andy’s brother Michael Kaufman and sister Carol Kaufman-Kerman, among others.
