Xavier Woods has reacted to Kevin Owens apologizing for previously betraying the New Day, amid speculation about the faction experiencing another betrayal.
Kevin Owens became an honorary member of the New Day faction in 2019. He went on to betray Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods that April, in pursuit of a match for Kingston’s WWE Championship.
Owens apologised for this on Friday’s (August 23) SmackDown episode, admitting that Kofi Kingston was the only person he betrayed on WWE TV who didn’t deserve it.
Xavier Woods took to Twitter to respond to this apology, sharing a clip of Owens powerbombing him onto the ring apron.
Believing that he has reason to be suspicious about recent alliances, Woods captioned his post:

Woods has recently been struggling to accept Odyssey Jones, who has formed an alliance with Kofi Kingston in recent weeks.
Between Odyssey Jones entering the picture and Karrion Kross attempting to influence the split of the New Day, it has been heavily speculated that Woods will do the previously-unthinkable and betray Kingston.
