With a new round of WWE tryouts approaching, more names from the independent wrestling scene and the sporting world have been revealed.
The tryouts are set to take place at the WWE Performance Center this week, with new names emerging according to a recent report.
PWInsider lists University of Illinois Linebacker Ryan Meed as a name that will be at the tryouts.
Olympic shot putter Ana Da Silva also confirmed that she was taking part in the upcoming tryout in Orlando, Florida, posting on Instagram:
“From the Olympic shot put ring to the WWE ring… Soon to be ur fav Brazilian on the WWE tryout ring next week.”
Model and actress Tessa Johnston also revealed her participation in the tryouts, noting that the camp begins on Tuesday and crediting Emiliano Warcorey for his support in an Instagram post, reading:
“She’s going to @wwe 👀🤭
“Camp begins on Tuesday 🤼♀️
“Special s/o to @warcorey who gave me a few basics 💪🏽”
Richard Holliday was also spotted at the WWE Performance Center, with an image circulating of the former MLW star alongside Nikki Blackheart at last night’s NXT, with the previously mentioned report noting their involvement in the tryouts.
Among the other names already confirmed is Promise Braxton, who received praise from WWE’s Natalya (now Nattie).
Other names so far confirmed have included Valentina Rossi, Fallyn Grey, Notorious Mimi, Airica Demia, Ricky South, and The Dropouts.
As previously reported, Notorious Mimi was previously signed to WWE and appeared in NXT as Sloane Jacobs
