With Smackdown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley operating at her highest level yet seen in her time in WWE, it’s natural that new doors are likely top open and new opportunities are going to reveal themselves.
And according to the Judgment Day’s ‘Eradicator’ those new opportunities have been in the acting realm, however, whilst interested in pursuing that path eventually she revealed on Cheap Heat With Peter Rosenberg, that’s something she sees after her active in-ring time is over.
When asked about a transition into acting being in her future, Ripley replied:
“I mean, it could be. Quite possibly. I feel like if I were to do a movie, it would have to be like an action or a horror. I don’t think I can really do anything else.
“But I’ve definitely thought about it and I did acting classes for, like, two years I wanna say. And I did get offered a movie but I just, I couldn’t do it because my schedule was just so hectic and I wasn’t gonna have any time off to do it.”
As well as her hectic schedule preventing any potential acting role, her more important reasoning was then revealed.
Ripley explained:
“So, I’d legit never be home and I’d never get to see my dogs. Yeah, I just couldn’t do it but maybe after wrestling there might be one or two that I could do.”
Despite being the current Smackdown Women’s Champion, Ripley was recently drafted to Raw while Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair was moved to SmackDown.
Both women seem set for new programs on their respective brands with Natalya confronting Ripley on Monday’s Raw (May 8) while Belair was brutally attacked by WrestleMania 39 opponent Asuka in the middle of her championship celebration on Smackdown (May 12).
