WWE Star Turns Down Spot In Faction

Ahead of his SmackDown in-ring re-debut, WWE star Andrade has turned down a spot in the Legado del Fantasma faction.

In the 2024 WWE Draft, Andrade was drafted to the Friday Night SmackDown brand. Since then, the company has aired vignettes hyping his arrival.

WWE announced that Andrade’s in-ring re-debut will see him go one-on-one with Apollo Crews on the May 31 edition of SmackDown.

Ahead of his re-debut, the company posted a digital exclusive where Angel of Legado del Fantasma approached Andrade to offer him a spot in his faction.

Angel told the former WWE United States Champion that Santos Escobar was willing to look past what happened at WrestleMania 40 and offer him a spot, but Andrade told him, “thanks, but no thanks.”

At WrestleMania 40 Night One, Andrade and Rey Mysterio defeated Santos Escobar and Dominik Mysterio in tag team action.

Also announced for tonight’s May 31 SmackDown, The Bloodline’s Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa will face The Street Profits and Nia Jax will have her Queen of the Ring coronation.
