Amid his absence since Halloween Havoc, an update has been provided on former WWE NXT North American Champion Oba Femi.
At NXT Halloween Havoc 2024, Tony D’Angelo defeated Oba Femi in a Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match to retain the NXT North American Championship.
Since this loss, Femi has been absent from WWE NXT television and hasn’t been backstage at the brand’s TV tapings.
On November 26, Fightful’s Corey Brennan took to social media to provide an update on Oba Femi’s WWE status amid his recent absence. He wrote:
We have not heard of Oba Femi being backstage in NXT since Halloween Havoc.
It remains to be seen if or when fans will see Oba Femi back on WWE NXT at the time of this writing.
We have not heard of Oba Femi being backstage in NXT since Halloween Havoc. @FightfulSelect will continue to ask.
