With recent chatter regarding his WWE contract coming up for expiration soon, one top WWE star has made a bold move on social media.
Taking the occasional step that public figures do to go incognito but not have to re-do their entire profiles, Drew McIntyre has blacked out his profile picture and banner on Twitter.
While the behavior isn’t inherently unusual, it has gotten fans talking after recent reports that Drew McIntyre is not only close to a contract expiration but also, has yet to sign a new one with WWE.
With details revealed that the two parties have not agreed to terms of re-signing a contract, the timeframe surrounding the end of his contract is said to be not imminent, rather sometime this year.
Drew McIntyre is currently out of action related to plaguing injury, therefore has been expectedly absent on television after his brutal battle at WrestleMania 39 for the Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus and GUNTHER.
