WWE has confirmed two new hirings to the backroom staff today, per PWInsider.
George Carroll, who has previously worked a number of different roles for New Japan Pro Wrestling in the United States, as well as MLW, has joined the NXT writing team.
Carroll was present backstage at last night’s (June 15) NXT show.
The other name is John D’Amico, who was released from his position back in September 2020 after 31 years with WWE. He returns to his previous role as Director of Production Management for WWE live events.
WWE’s backstage shakeup appears to be continuing as the company’s president Nick Khan is making ongoing changes.
