The Maximum Male Models, now going by the names Mansoor & Mase Madden, have revealed scrapped plans for Tyler Breeze in WWE.
The former Mace and Mansoor were both released from their WWE contracts on September 21, 2023.
They have since revealed their new ring names during a Reddit AMA, with Mace becoming Mase Madden in a throwback to his Dio Maddin WWE name and Mansoor returning to the spelling of his own first name instead of the Maximum Male Models variation.
During the AMA, the Squared Circle community asked the pair questions, with one such being about working with Tyler Breeze.
Asking what they pair thought of ‘a run with Tyler Breeze as a manager or ally’, they would reply:
“We wanted to work with Breeze so badly. From what we understand it almost happened.”
“Was pushed very heavily and nearly happened”
This wasn’t the only scrapped idea that was thrown around, with Madden also revealing where the angle with Brock Lesnar could have gone.
Breeze was released from his WWE contract in June 2021, along with Fandango.
He would return as a co-host of UpUpDownDown in 2022 seeing him under a WWE contract that allowed him to take independent wrestling bookings.
Breeze has addressed his current relationship with WWE, revealing he helps out at the Performance Center “from time to time”, that he isn’t retired and is open to the possibility of wrestling in WWE, AEW or Impact Wrestling.
