Potential Future WWE Signing Vows To Claim Ula Fala

Potential Future WWE Signing Vows To Claim Ula Fala WWE

Zilla Fatu, the son of Umaga, has his eyes on the Bloodline in WWE and wants to ‘reclaim his birthright’, the ceremonial Ula Fala.

The January 6, 2025, WWE Raw on Netflix premiere saw Roman Reigns defeat Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat with The Rock returning the Ula Fala to the Original Tribal Chief, as can be seen below this news story.

With the Ula Fala having been a symbol of respect between the warring Bloodline factions, Zilla Fatu has reflected on his family name and the conflict surrounding it.

Although not signed by WWE, Fatu has the support of his uncle and Hall of Famer Rikishi, with the 25-year-old recently discussing the legacy of his family name on the Tim Hann Rivera, saying:

“Just trying to separate my name, Zilla Fatu, from my family. That’s the challenge right now.

“I’m trying to show people that even I’m still connected with this Bloodline, I got my own stuff going on.

“Zilla Fatu’s a whole different brand. So that’s what I’m trying to do right now. We’re just taking it one day at a time.”

With a somewhat checkered past of his own, Fatu would open up about prison, the family business and his quest to reclaim the Ula Fala, stating:

“I feel like my story. I went through hardship at a young age. At 16, I did six years in prison.

“For me to come home and actually try the family business out, because to be honest, growing up, I didn’t want to do this. Nobody in our family really wanted to do this. But it was an option when I came home from prison, and I’m actually happy that I started doing it because it just brought me closer to my pops.

“If it wasn’t for my pops, there wouldn’t be none of this stuff that’s going on right now. So it’s only right that I come back and reclaim my birthright, the Ula Fala.”

Umaga passed away in December 2009 at the age of 36, long before Zilla Fatu would make his pro-wrestling debut in December 2022.

Recently, Fatu stepped into the ring to face his mentor Booker T at Reality of Wrestling with the young star losing the WWE Hall of Famer.
