WWE Uncertain On Main Event For WrestleMania 38 Night One?

The main event of WrestleMania 38 Night One (or WrestleMania Saturday) is going to be Charlotte Flair vs. Ronda Rousey…or it might be the Kevin Owens show with Steve Austin.

If it seems like I’m unsure, well that’s because it appears as though WWE hasn’t made its mind up yet either.

Current reports are that it will be one of the aforementioned segments, but it may not be clear until the actual day of WrestleMania 38 Night One as to which it’s going to be.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said:

“I haven’t checked since…when did I last check on this…Wednesday I think. And Ronda and Charlotte Flair was still – I mean it’ll be the quote ‘main event’ either way unless they change their mind, which like this week could happen 10 times. But it was still to go on last. But I know there’s been talk of the Austin thing going on last.”

So it could be the case that Charlotte vs. Ronda is the “main event” in terms of matches, but that Steve Austin on the Kevin Owens show actually closes the night as a whole.
