WWE Legend Opens Up About WWE Retirement Difficulties WWE

The Undertaker has opened up about the difficulties after his retirement as a WWE wrestler which took place in 2020.

Revealing his retirement in the final episode of the 2020 documentary series Undertaker: The Last Ride, the WWE legend would appear at the November 22 Survivor Series to address the fans.

While The Undertaker has kept close to WWE since retirement, including recently appearing on NXT (as can be seen below this news story), he has recently discussed the difficulties of no longer being an active wrestler.

Speaking on his Six Feet Under Podcast, The Undertaker revealed how he still felt he had something left to give in the ring, stating:

“To call it quits and know that it’s the right thing to do that’s tough… I’ve been there.

“In my mind’s eye, I could still go. In my heart, I wanted to go. But, I knew. I was like, ‘I’m done. I’m out of gas.’

“It took me a while to really come to grips with it, even though I knew I was doing the right thing.

“It was still like, there was that huge void like, ‘What do I do now? I don’t know that I want to coach. I don’t know that I want to do this.’

“It’s just like, this is all that I knew for the past 30 plus years.”

The Undertaker has gone on to a coaching role on WWE LFG, the A&E competition series, which was recently renewed for a second season.

Booker T has recently praised The Undertaker in his role as coach on WWE LFG, revealing his style of tutelage towards the prospects.
