Another year, another WWE 2K game is coming our way on October 9 for PS4 and Xbox One among other mediums. Despite fears and concerns centering on the stilled and dreary gameplay we received last year – an upgrade is needed with the imminent arrival of Fire Pro Wrestling World – there could be some great news for those who have tirelessly lobbied for the now NXT UK roster to be included.
According to trusted YouTuber, VikingSizedGamer, both ‘The Bruiserweight’ Pete Dunne and Tyler Bate are a shoo-in to be additions to this year’s roster. As far as the source is concerned, four UK wrestlers – believed to be Dunne, Bate, Wolfgang, and Trent Seven – were scanned by 2K last year but failed to make the cut, and this time around two of them – see above – have been re-scanned thanks to a drastic alteration in their image.
This comes off the back of both the current WWE United Kingdom Champion and Moustache Mountain member being interviewed by gaming website IGN about their inclusion.
Tell us your thoughts about these possible inclusions. Do you think they should have been in last year’s game? Let us know in the comments below or on Twitter here. You can also join us on Discord to chat with Oli, Luke, the magazine team, the website writers and each other here!
