The partnership between WWE and Netflix will see a new behind-the-scenes documentary series debut on the streaming platform.
Announced during night two of WrestleMania 41 on Sunday, April 21, the new series will be titled “WWE Unreal”.
The series is set to debut on Netflix during the summer of 2025, although details of its length are yet to be confirmed.
According to the announcement, the documentary series will focus on what goes on backstage in WWE.
This will include a look inside the WWE writer’s room and what goes on outside the ring.
Announcing the show, Michael Cole said the series would also follow WWE superstars “where the drama is just as intense offstage as it is under the spotlight.”
TKO Chief Operating Officer Mark Shapiro had previously stated that a series similar to “Formula 1: Drive to Survive” was being developed.
As noted in that report, “Drive to Survive” gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the F1 drivers and races through its six seasons.
WWE debuted on Netflix with the January 6, 2025, episode of Raw taking place at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
The Intuit Dome will play host to WWE Money in the Bank on June 7, 2025, the same day as NXT Worlds Collide.
WrestleTalk will cover further details for WWE Unreal as they emerge.
