Premiere Date For WWE Unreal Writer’s Room Netflix Series Revealed WWE

A premiere date for the WWE Unreal documentary series promising to lift the curtain on the writer’s room has been revealed.

There has been a lot of talk about this new Netflix series, with marketing noting that fans will get to see what happens in the WWE writer’s room for the first time ever.

Netflix has now confirmed that this series will arrive on the platform on July 29. Season one of WWE Unreal will feature five episodes.

Netflix shared the following about the show:

WWE on Netflix is just getting started. Enter WWE: Unreal, a new series premiering with five episodes on July 29. For the first time ever, step into the WWE writer’s room and outside the ring with your favorite WWE Superstars, where the drama is just as intense offstage as it is under the spotlight.

WWE: Unreal is part of Netflix’s rapidly growing partnership with WWE — one that kicked off in a major way in January 2025 with Raw, streaming live on Netflix on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.

Since the premiere, dozens of Superstars have stepped into the WWE Raw ring, including The Rock, John Cena, and the Undisputed WWE Champion “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, and the Raw after WrestleMania on Monday, April 21 is set to be the biggest spectacle of the year.

Of course, Raw was just the beginning. WWE fans across the globe can find premium live events like WrestleMania and weekly shows like SmackDown and NXT on their roster.

John Cena recently revealed that there have been “tons of pivots” in WWE creative with his retirement storyline.
