At the first day of WrestleMania Axxess, WWE unveiled their latest Hall of Fame statue, WWE Hall of Famer “Rowdy” Roddy Piper. Roddy Piper has joined Dusty Rhodes, Andre The Giant, Brun Sammartino, The Ultimate Warrior and the aforementioned Ric Flair in having a statue made in his honour.

The late Roddy Piper’s entire family were present for the announcement, as were some of his notable rivals, Ricky Steamboat, Ric Flair and Sting. The news comes after it was just announced that WWE and A&E would be teaming up to make five two-hour documentaries on five Hall of Famers, one being of “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
