Prior to last night’s Raw, it was reported by Post Wrestling that both Sasha Banks and Bray Wyatt hadn’t been cleared to compete on the show.
As you will have probably seen by now, The Fiend still managed to make an appearance after Raw, attacking Cesaro, but Dave Meltzer has confirmed that there was a minor injury which led to the initial report.
However, the nature of Sasha Banks’ injury is more interesting, as WWE and Meltzer’s sources are currently unwilling to disclose what the injury is.
This led many to believe that Banks may have suffered a concussion during the match, as WWE is generally very keen on hushing that sort of thing up, but Banks has reportedly come out to say that this is not the case.
WWE is generally pretty quick to disclose the nature of injuries, so this will leave fans of Banks a bit concerned that she may be out of action for some time.
She proved once again what an asset she is to the promotion with a very good display in her Hell in a Cell loss to Becky Lynch, but it feels very much as though her time in the main event is over once again.
One theory that she and best friend Bayley could be heading back to NXT, in which case they may make surprise returns tomorrow night in an attempt to boost ratings.
