A WWE star has provided an update after suffering a torn groin during a recent match despite picking up the win.
In a recent public appearance, Braun Strowman gave an update on his injury status as he continues to rehab and recover.
WWE star Braun Strowman has been off television since he won the ‘Last Monster Standing’ match against Bronson Reed on September 30.
After the match, it was reported that Strowman had suffered a groin injury and, and he’s now provided the latest udpate.
In an interview with The Schmo while at an appearance during a recent NASCAR event, Braun Strowman explained more about his current status.
Braun Strowman said:
“I’ve been off the last couple weeks. I’m rehabbing, got to head back here in a second and fly back to Orlando to our facility. Get some more rehab this week and then next week, we’re in Hershey, PA. And then we head over to Saudi Arabia for a big one [Crown Jewel].”
WWE Crown Jewel 2024 is set for Saturday, November 2, 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
It will feature two champion vs champion matches in which each brand’s top champions in both the men’s and women’s divisions will face off.
The current lineup of champions would see Cody Rhodes taking on GUNTHER, and Nia Jax taking on Liv Morgan for the respective men’s and women’s Crown Jewel Championship belts.
