
A name for a new show has potentially been revealed, with WWE filing to trademark a new term with the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO).
Per the USPTO, WWE filed an application on May 17 to trademark the term “WWE VAULT”.
The description on the application indicates that WWE intends to use this term for a “show about professional wrestling”.
The following description accompanied the filing:
Mark For: WWE VAULT™ trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of entertainment services, namely, a show about professional wrestling; entertainment services, namely, the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media;
providing wrestling news and information through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information.
WWE’s plans for “WWE Vault” are currently unclear.
