Following an injury in October 2023, Erik of The Viking Raiders has recently been spotted at the WWE Performance Center.
On November 2, 2023, Erik revealed he had undergone neck surgery with his C6 and C7 vertebrae undergoing fusion.
His tag team partner, Ivar, provided an update on Erik’s recovery from surgery on May 23, 2024, revealing that he was “doing great, physically great” and it was just “a matter of him getting cleared.”
Erik recently shared a photo on Twitter showing that he’s taking one more step towards his in-ring return.
The photo, which can be seen below this news story shows Erick in the WWE Performance Center with the caption:
“Destroy. Erase. Improve.”
At the time of writing, there is no news as to when WWE fans can expect an in-ring return for Erik.
It may be a while before we see the Viking Raiders back together, with Ivar also sustaining a ‘very serious‘ injury recently.
