Vince McMahon Wanted WWE Star To Be Part Of Historic Match WWE

New WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax has revealed Vince McMahon wanted her to be part of the first women’s match in Saudi Arabia.

At WWE King & Queen of the Ring, Nia Jax defeated Lyra Valkyria to become the 2024 Queen of the Ring and earn a shot at the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.

At the SummerSlam 2024 event, Jax beat Bayley to become the new WWE Women’s Champion.

During the SummerSlam post show press conference, Nia Jax revealed that Vince McMahon wanted her to be part of the first women’s match in Saudi Arabia, which took place at Crown Jewel 2019. She said:

“I remember before I went out for my double ACL surgery, Vince had pulled me aside and said – he had asked me because I waited a while before my surgery, he said, ‘Hey, we’re gonna have the first ever women’s match in Saudi Arabia, and I would like for you to be a part of it’.”

“And you know, things happened and I couldn’t be a part of it, but when I was able to win Queen of the Ring there, it was a pretty cool moment, and when Triple H came into the ring to crown me, it just hit the next level.”
