AEW Star Comments On ‘Vindictive’ Vince McMahon Return To WWE

A former WWE star who is currently with All Elite Wrestling has shared his perspective on Vince McMahon’s return to WWE.

Leaning on his experience with Vince McMahon, one AEW star feels fairly certain that the Chairman’s return to the company may well be full of angst. 

Speaking on his ‘Extreme Life of Matt Hardy‘ podcast, Matt Hardy shared his thoughts on Vince McMahon returning to WWE, including a personality characteristic that may be in play.

Hardy said:

“Knowing Vince, he’s a pretty vindictive guy, I feel like,”

“If he feels like someone intentionally tried to do something to push him out or give him advice that was maybe misleading, they were just trying to push him off to the side, I feel like he’s gonna take that seriously and he’s gonna return with a vengeance.”

Elaborating some more on the compelling psyche of Vince McMahon, Hardy commented:

“Vince says you can’t let people see you when you’re weak,”

“Your primal instincts tell you that you need to be the strongest, you need to be the top of the food chain, ‘You need to be an alpha male, damn it! This man’s a vegan? Oh my God. He’s not at the top of the food chain. He’s not an alpha male. He doesn’t have a primal instinct.'”

Elsewhere in the podcast, Hardy comments on whether or not he might expect Vince McMahon to return to creative duties in the company in the future.
