WWE Name Reacts To First ‘Bump’ In Over Eight Years WWE

The issues between Damian Priest and Dominik Mysterio saw Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan in a tangle on last night’s WWE Raw.

The full match from the September 16 episode, including the post-match chaos, can be seen below this news story, but it was one moment in particular that saw a reaction from WWE Raw commentator Wade Barrett.

With interference from, among others, Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley, Wade Barrett would find himself under both women as Dominik Mysterio’s current love interest was thrown over the commentary table by his past interest.

With Barrett taken away from his commentary duties for a moment or two, he has now commented on taking his first bump in more than eight years, tweeting:

“8.5 years since I last took a bump.

“It can be a dangerous job, but as a gentleman, it’s a risk I’m willing to take. 👍🏻”

During the moment, the gentleman himself recovered to say:

“It was painful, but I loved every second of it.”

With WWE having recently shared a video of Wade Barrett’s career highlights, the commentator added a “thus far” to the post, teasing a possible in-ring return.

Over in AEW, Nigel McGuinness recently returned to the ring having last wrestled in 2011 and is set for a match against Bryan Danielson who, himself, made a return from retirement.
