A WWE name has reacted to the pitch that a faction should reform, with three of its four members currently appearing on television.
Back in 2015, the League of Nations formed on WWE television, featuring Wade Barrett, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus and Rusev.
The short-lived faction would only last until April the following year, with Del Rio and Rusev walking out and Sheamus disbanding the outfit.
Wade Barrett has now reacted to a fan suggestion that it’s time for the League of Nations to reform with a rather definitive take on Twitter, as can be seen below this news story.
In a response to the suggestion that the band should get back together, Barrett shared a Team World: World Police themed GIF.
The GIF shows Gary Johnston throwing up in all his puppet glory, pretty much establishing Barrett’s thoughts on the idea.
Rusev recently returned to WWE at the Raw After WrestleMania 41, with a recent report indicating a feud with Sheamus had been pitched by creative.
Barrett hasn’t wrestled since the April 4 2016, episode of WWE Raw, teaming with Sheamus as The League of Nations took on The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Big E) in a losing effort.
Having returned to WWE in August 2020, Barrett has served on the commentary team, currently performing those duties on SmackDown.
