WWE reportedly wanted NXT Star Lars Sullivan at Monday Night Raw last week. According to Dave Meltzer, Sullivan was wanted at Raw last week but was not at the show.
Lars Sullivan has been close to debuting on the main roster since Survivor Series. WWE began running vignettes announcing the arrival of Lars Sullivan with both Raw and SmackDown clamoring for his services. Sullivan was intended to make his Raw debut on January 7th, which would lead to a WrestleMania program with John Cena. However, Sullivan suffered an anxiety attack the day of his scheduled debut and his status has been up in the air ever since.
WWE has reportedly been very supportive of Sullivan during the matter. Despite not being mentioned on television since January 7th, Triple H has stated Sullivan is in a good place.
It is currently unknown what kind of plans WWE has for Sullivan going forward. Sullivan was originally intended to be the one to injure John Cena in storyline, forcing Cena to miss the Royal Rumble. This would have set up a program between the two of them that would culminate at WrestleMania, however plans had to be changed due to the circumstances.
WWE clearly has big plans for Sullivan and hopefully it will only be a matter of time before he is competing on TV again.
