Here’s what happened during WWE SmackDown star’s Grayson Waller’s return to Pro Wrestling Australia, with Waller competing in singles action.
It was previously announced that Waller would be in action at Saturday’s (October 12) show, taking on Jimmy Townsend.
Waller was ultimately victorious in this bout, defeating Townsend after almost 20 minutes of action.
The WWE star passionately addressed the fans following the bout, telling them to keep supporting Australian wrestling, and giving a shout-out to WWE for letting him compete on the show.
Waller stated:
“I love Australian wrestling, I love it more than anything. And shoutout to the WWE for letting me come and perform for you all tonight. You truly know we’re in a new era when they let me come down to Sydney to perform for you so shoutout to WWE.
“I did this because I wanted to, I love wrestling in this country. No other country in the world can touch what we do, and I keep saying it. I can’t stand UK wrestling, I can’t stand Japanese wrestling, I definitely can’t stand American wrestling.
“We have the best fans, we have the best wrestlers, we run it, and PWA is at the very top. So please, whatever you do, keep supporting PWA.
“Keep supporting Australian wrestling, because we’re taking over the whole world baby. Indi Hartwell, Rhea Ripley, Bronson Reed, Duke Hudson, Delta? It makes me smile.
