Former WWE Stars Returning For Worlds Collide

Two former WWE stars appear set to make their returns to TV during Saturday’s Worlds Collide Premium Live Event.

With Worlds Collide being the first major crossover event featuring WWE and AAA talent since the former company announced the acquisition of the latter, we will see many Latin American stars showcased on June 7.

PWInsider has provided an update on a report about plans for WWE TV returns, following a report that WWE is bringing in Lince Dorado to the Worlds Collide event.

PWInsider has added that WWE is also bringing in Savio Vega for Saturday’s show.

Savio Vega notably made an appearance at Backlash 2023 in Puerto Rico, helping Bad Bunny in his San Juan Street Fight against Damian Priest.

Lince Dorado returned to WWE earlier this year as a wrestler/trainer, but his only televised match took place at an EVOLVE taping in April.

PWInsider also noted that Spanish commentator Moody Jack (aka Hector Melendez) is also set for the show, and will be working on the AAA brand moving forward, under WWE.

The belief is that he will be working behind the scenes in AAA, with Melendez expected at the WWE Performance Center this week ahead of Worlds Collide.

Melendez notably worked with Jeremy Borash during their time together in TNA. Previous reports indicated that Borash will be involved in AAA creative on behalf of WWE.

Worlds Collide is expected to be headlined by El Hijo Del Vikingo vs Chad Gable.
