Former World’s Strongest Man Recalls WWE Talks, Addresses Wrestling Future WWE

A championship-winning athlete has addressed his future in pro-wrestling, confirming previous talks with WWE.

2017 World’s Strongest Man winner Eddie Hall appears to be completing side quests right now, recently making his MMA debut and confirming that he’s training for an arm wrestling match against another Strongman.

Hall has now confirmed that he previously had “very small conversations” with WWE, noting that he’d be willing to make special appearances for the company.

When asked about a potential transition into pro-wrestling, Eddie Hall said:

“At some point there were some very small conversations with the WWE after I won World’s Strongest Man, but it just didn’t quite fit. The money versus the workload just wasn’t quite there.

“Again, maybe me going in a bit like Tyson Fury, Mike Tyson, Floyd Mayweather, people who just go in and do appearances, I’d love to do that.

“I think I’d be quite good as a wrestler. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think I’d be capable of doing the backflips off the ropes or anything, but it’s doable for me and it’s fun.”
