WWE WrestleMania 39 Main Event Rematch Announced

WWE WrestleMania 39 Main Event Rematch Announced WWE

In case you wanted to see the rematch of one of the WrestleMania 39 main events, you don’t have to wait until Backlash in May!

Coinciding with the first night of the WWE draft, there was a massive match announced for Friday, April 28.

Ahead of Matt Riddle’s big match with Solo Sikoa, Paul Heyman popped on the mic to let the new WWE Undisputed Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn when their next defense would take place.

After some backstage finagling, Heyman advises that the Usos would be getting a WrestleMania 39 Night 1 main event rematch live on SmackDown.

With Paul Heyman directing his attention to the Usos (despite the fact they did not seem to notice),that  “the Tribal Chief is losing patience with the two of you.”

While the comment is plausibly deniable as directed towards K.O. and Sami Zayn, the continued character work of Paul Heyman remains a gem in the crown of this Bloodline storyline!

Tonight’s SmackDown (April 14) kicked off with a big segment between The Bloodline (Jimmy and Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa) and their old foes Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, joined by their latest problem.

Also on the Friday night show, Xavier Woods of New Day is taking on L.A. Knight after the two have recently been doing some backstage feuding.

There is also set to be the return of Shinsuke Nakamura and a championship celebration for the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
