WrestleMania 39 is set to break a number of records for WWE as we approach the show of shows this weekend.
It has already been reported that WrestleMania 39 tickets have outsold the 2022 edition of the WWE premium live event.
WWE Senior Vice President and Head of Global Sales & Partnerships Craig Stimmel also revealed that the event has earned $20 million in sponsorship revenue, a record for any WWE show.
Dave Meltzer has provided some further insight into the record-setting weekend, writing in the current Wrestling Observer Newsletter (subscription required):
“A number of WrestleMania records are guaranteed to be set including most tickets sold (adding up the two nights), most viewers watching (due to it being on Peacock which has grown greatly in subscribers over the past year), most merchandise sold (because from the merchandise standpoint the company is at its hottest period) and by far the most sponsorship revenue.”
Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley recently gave us a look at the WrestleMania Superstore whilst vandalizing it and revealing an exclusive T-shirt in the process.
Images of the WrestleMania 39 stage, along with videos, have started popping up on social media.
