Jacob Fatu has become a champion in WWE for the first time, winning the United States Title from LA Knight at WrestleMania 41.
Fatu debuted for WWE in June 2024 and has been on the ascent ever since, essentially replacing Solo Sikoa as the top man in the new Bloodline.
That ascent continues today at WrestleMania with his first WWE title win in a match that saw him equal with the popularity of LA Knight among the fans in attendance.
A big moment in the match saw Fatu attempt his pop-up moonsault, but Knight caught it into a BFT – Fatu didn’t kick out but got his hand to the rope to break the pinfall.
After the match, legendary Bloodline family member Haku came to the ring to celebrate with him.
It wasn’t the only big Bloodline championship win of WrestleMania 41 night one, as Jey Uso won the World Heavyweight Championship from GUNTHER in the opening match.
The main leader of the Bloodline for the past few years, Roman Reigns, will be in action in tonight’s main event against CM Punk vs Seth Rollins in a three-way match.
