Did Charlotte Flair Win WWE Women’s Championship From Tiffany Stratton At WrestleMania 41

The penultimate match at WrestleMania 41 night saw Charlotte Flair challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship.

The build to this one began somewhat innocuously but it turned into one of the most heated matches on the entire Mania card after a couple of instances of off-script comments between the two during promos.

This included instances of Flair interrupting and talking over Stratton when she wasn’t supposed to, Stratton mentioning Flair’s three divorces, and Flair bringing up Stratton’s boyfriend Ludwig Kaiser.

Flair had won the women’s Royal Rumble in February to earn the title shot, while Stratton had reigned as champion since the January 3 episode of WWE SmackDown when she cashed in Money in the Bank against Nia Jax.

Tonight’s match saw Stratton retain the title, meaning Flair didn’t beat her own record of becoming a 15-time women’s champion.

If you were wondering if things were going to get stiff between the two given the heated build-up, Stratton finished the match with a bruised forehead, a chipped tooth and a busted lip.

They did exchange glances after the match when Flair had left the ring, so that was seemingly a nod of respect.
