WWE Called Out For Leaving Current Champion Off WrestleMania 41

Former WWE star Matt Cardona has questioned why Women’s US Champion Chelsea Green has been left off the card for WrestleMania 41.

With Green being the inaugural WWE Women’s US Champion, many were expecting her to have a role to play on one of the two nights of WrestleMania 41.

This doesn’t appear to be the case, with no match announced for Green for the April 19-20 event at the time of writing.

Green’s husband Matt Cardona has taken to Twitter to call WWE out for not finding a spot for her at the two-night event.

Supporting his wife, Cardona wrote:

“I know not everybody can be on WrestleMania and I’m biased because she’s my hot wife, but how is Chelsea Green not on a 2 night Mania?!”

While she won’t be defending her Women’s Intercontinental Championship, Lyra Valkyria will be on the WrestleMania 41 card, teaming with Bayley to challenge for Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez’ Women’s Tag Team Championship.
