Real Reason For WWE WrestleMania 41 Announcement Delay WWE

An update has emerged on the location for WWE WrestleMania 41, with the frontrunner to host next year’s event confirmed.

While WWE often announces the location for WrestleMania events a year or longer in advance, the company has yet to announce the host city for WrestleMania 41.

With there being speculation about several cities potentially welcoming the event, Dave Meltzer reports that Las Vegas is the frontrunner for the 2024 event.

Explaining why Las Vegas isn’t officially locked in at the time of writing, Meltzer noted the following in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:

Regarding rumors of WrestleMania for 5/3 and 5/4 in Las Vegas, from what we are told it’s not locked in but it is being talked about as a possibility.

Basically it’s working out the deal with the city which is what has delayed the announcement. Minneapolis submitted a bid as well.

Undertaker on his podcast stated it would be in Las Vegas next year as far as he had heard and at press time it’s the frontrunner.

Rumors have emerged about the UK potentially hosting WrestleMania, with London Mayor Sadiq Khan naming the WWE show as one of the events he hopes to bring to London if he’s re-elected in May.
