Big Change To WWE WrestleMania 41 Match Update WWE

The latest update has emerged on a potential big change to a championship match at the WWE WrestleMania 41 event.

Main eventing today’s March 31 episode of WWE Raw in London, England was a Women’s World Championship match with IYO SKY defending against Rhea Ripley with Bianca Belair serving as special guest referee.

As things stood prior to the match, the ‘official’ match for WrestleMania was current champion SKY defending against Elimination Chamber winner Belair.

However, the past few weeks had pretty much telegraphed that things were moving towards a three-way match with Ripley invovled.

Coming out of today’s match, SKY remains the champion as referee Belair called the match off as a double disqualification as she’d inadvertently been struck by both Ripley and SKY.

However, post-match, it was Ripley who stood tall as she laid out SKY and Belair with Riptides and held the Women’s World Championship belt aloft.

So, the ‘official’ match at this point remains SKY vs Belair, but once again, it was made to look like Ripley will be added to make it a three-way.

In addition to laying them both out after the match, Ripley does have another claim to be added to the match as she did have SKY pinned for more than a three-count at one point, but Belair couldn’t count it because Ripley had inadvertently knocked her down.
