WWE CCO Triple H has shared an update on WrestleMania 41 main event plans, discussing whether a women’s division match will headline this year’s shows.
We now know the two challengers for WWE’s women’s championships at WrestleMania, with Charlotte Flair set to challenge for Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Women’s Championship after winning the Royal Rumble, and Bianca Belair to go after the Women’s World Title after her Elimination Chamber match victory.
In the Elimination Chamber post-show, Triple H was asked about the possibility of a women’s match headlining one of the two nights of WrestleMania 41.
Indicating that he’ll give one of the women’s title matches the main event if they get the biggest reaction, the WWE CCO said:
“It’s always possible. As we build this, nothing is locked into any spot. As we build this, what resonates the most will become the main events, so nothing is locked in.
“Let everybody fight over the spot. Let them get out there and challenge themselves, when you have a moment on TV, I don’t care if it’s 30 seconds, a minute or 20 minutes, show me why you should be in the main event. Take it. Make it undeniable.
“I don’t believe in giving anybody a spot. ‘Oh the women get the main event spot’. It’s nice, if it’s the most interesting thing on the show and is getting the biggest reaction, when I put them in main events, it’s because of that. They earn that right, and they have earned the right to be treated like everybody else to be treated like everybody else and work their ass off to get what they want.
“I don’t treat them any differently, and the reason I don’t treat them differently is because I respect them too much to treat them that way.”

Only two women’s division matches have headlined WWE WrestleMania events, with Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair being the first, closing the one-night WrestleMania 35 event.
Bianca Belair vs Sasha Banks was the main event of WrestleMania 37 night one, with Roman Reigns vs Edge vs Daniel Bryan closing WrestleMania 37 night two.
Triple H has also addressed criticisms surrounding Jade Cargill’s WWE storyline featuring Bianca Belair following her return at Elimination Chamber, click here to read more.
