A top WWE star has addressed his upcoming WrestleMania 42 opponent, stating that he will disappoint him at the April 18-19 event.
After winning the WWE Royal Rumble match, Roman Reigns announced on Raw that he has chosen to challenge for CM Punk’s World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42.
In a new video shared by Allegiant Stadium on Twitter, CM Punk stated that he plans to disappoint Roman Reigns and his fans.
Sharing his thoughts on his upcoming title event, Punk said:
“My thoughts on my opponent, Roman Reigns, one of the best in the business.
“What happens when you’re at the peak and the pinnacle of this business is you wrestle the other guys that are on top and CM Punk vs Roman Reigns is a marque blockbuster match.
“I’m looking to disappoint Roman Reigns and all his fans in Las Vegas.
“I’ll make sure that night, WrestleMania, Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas, Roman Reigns will go to sleep.”
